Jen Carver is a Registered Veterinary Technologist and graduated in 2002 with a diploma in Veterinary Technology and General Health Sciences from St Lawrence College. Upon finishing her studies in Veterinary Technology, Jen worked at the University of Guelph in the large animal clinic, the small animal clinic I.C.U and emergency, and then in small animal anesthesia for twelve years.
After overcoming some health problems Jen began turning to alternative health regimes for herself, including massage, laser therapy and physical rehabilitation. Although she enjoyed her job in anesthesia, it was through her own treatments and health benefits that made her realize that she had a keen interest in animal therapy.
It was from this point that Jen went on to complete the Canine Massage Therapy course at the Royal Canadian College of Massage in 2016 and the Canine Osteoarthritis Case Management course offered by the University of Tennessee, in 2017. Jen has received her certification in Laser Therapy from the American Institute of Medical Laser Applications and also has her Medical Laser Safety Officer Certificate. She has completed the University of Tennessee's Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner course and became certified in canine physical rehabilitation in 2019.
Jen resides in Kitchener, Ont. with her loving husband Craig and two energetic daughters, Madelynne and Isabelle and her affectionate dog Vada.
In her spare time Jen enjoys camping with her family, hiking and reading.
