Enhancing the quality of life and well-being of your pet
About
My name is Lydia! Ever since I was little I’ve loved animals and knew from a young age that my life path would involve animals in some way. I was always helping any injured wild animals and any strays that crossed my path however I was able to.
In 2017 I graduated from Northern College’s Veterinary Technology - Wildlife Rehabilitation program, and I became registered with the OAVT that same year. I am also working on becoming a Certified Companion Animal Rehabilitation Therapist. I have always particularly loved geriatric animals, which is one reason that
I gained a strong interest in the physical rehab side of veterinary medicine.
Currently I have three pets in my life; my dog Roxy, and my cats Abaddon and Suki. Roxy was one of the colony animals during my first year of college and she quickly stole my heart, and I knew soon after meeting her that she would be coming home with me at the end of the school year. Ever since we have been attached at the hip!
Abaddon was rescued as a stray during my second year of college, and Suki is the newest member of my family who was adopted from one of my clients after she was no longer able to care for her.
I am very excited to be part of the team at Canine Paine Relief, and to have the chance to meet all your furry family members.
